“When my mom was diagnosed with Gallbladder Cancer in 2008, my entire world was shaken. I was overwhelmed with my own feelings and my responsibilities. I was emotionally drained from being an advocate and making sure all of my mom’s needs were met during this new daily set of challenges. Everyone wanted to help ease the responsibilities and pain. However, I was often at a loss of what to tell people to do.”

“I was 34 years old and 18 weeks pregnant when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, just 9 months after I lost my mom to cancer. There were so many questions and fears. Unfortunately, I had some family experience with cancer. This experience amplified my questions and fears. Luckily, I had a wonderful group of friends, co-workers and family members who made my health a top priority! Everyone wanted to help ease the pain and side effects of treatments. My friends and family wanted me to know they were thinking about me, but knew I did not want daily reminders of cancer through phone calls or emails.”

“Thriveosity is a wonderful and thoughtful gift idea for caregivers and patients to receive. I think receiving a Thriveosity subscription would be helpful and a positive way to show someone you care about them.

I needed my mom to know she was thought of and care about without the constant reminder of cancer. She needed care and information on nutrition, self-care, preparing for future challenges, and coping with the loss of her health. I would have loved giving my mom a care package subscription.

As a patient, I would have loved to receive a scheduled delivery of new products focusing on positive and organic healthy options. Patients are constantly struggling with side effects from treatments and are looking for ways to handle these new concerns.”

“Thriveosity…A non-intrusive way to show support and care for myself as a caregiver and my mom as a patient.”
